HOW TO CHOOSE THE SIZE:
To ensure the correct functioning of the rib protector it is essential to choose the right size:
you must take into account the height and then measure the chest and check the measurement on the size table below.
IMPORTANT : The rib protector should be positioned 25mm below the sternum.

Aldo Fattore, thanks to his great experience in the world of Karting and close to the needs of drivers, has created the FIA ​​approved AF74 rib protector 8870-2018 extremely comfortable, thanks also to the collaboration of the former world champion JEREMY IGLESIAS who personally tested the rib protector on international competitions.

DESCRIPTION

The project started with our non-approved rib protector. The benchmark in the realization of the design was to minimize the space between the driver's back and the seat back.

The rigid parts are 4, the backrest, the side protections and the toaster guard made of fiberglass with rounded edges to ensure the safety of the rider.
The backrest and the side protections are connected to each other by means of a "bodice" made of nylon fabric towards the outside, so as to ensure greater resistance to the elements to which it is exposed in normal service, in cotton towards the inside to ensure greater comfort in contact with the body and a low density polyethylene foam padding between the two fabrics; the backrest and the parasterno are sewn inside the two fabrics while the side protections are visible fixed by means of metal rivets.

The chest protector is connected to the rest of the rib protector by means of two slotted elements in PA12 nylon, that allow the passage of the closing straps, fixed on the right side while on the left side there is a rivet that allows a quick coupling / release.

STRENGTH
The strength of the AF74 rib protector is the backrest shaped like the seat backrest so as to eliminate the empty space between the seat and the rider's back and not shift the center of gravity.
